Shooting Stars (群星闪耀时) is an army-based mystery thriller drama, in the drama male leads are Li Xian as Xiang Yuan Sheng and Zhou You as Chen Hao whereas the female leads are Ren Min as Luo Min Min and CiCi Wang as Shi Jun Yu.
The drama story is about a young boy who comes from a wealthy high-ranking political family, his dream is to serve in the Chinese navy. One day his unexpected visit to Shanghai changes his life completely and due to some inappropriate circumstances, he becomes a low-ranked police officer.
