Indian cricket team since 2021. He has been playing for the Jharkhand in domestic cricket since 2012 and for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since 2018, before that had Gujarat Lions. Kishan was captain of the Indian men’s cricket team in the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Ishan Kishan was born on 18 July 1998 in Patna, Bihar, India. He completed his primary schooling at Delhi Public School, Patna, and after that, he enrolled at Commerce College, Patna where he pursued his studies. His brother encouraged him to play cricket and Ishan joined the cricket club.
Since childhood, he has been inclined toward playing cricket. In 2014, he started his career for Jharkhand in domestic cricket. Currently, Kisan played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL since 2018, before that played for Gujarat Lions.
Ishan Kishan's named in India's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad against England in February 2021, And he made his debut in the T20I for India against England on 14 March 2021. In the series, it was a great performance. After that, on 18 July 2021, he debuted in India's One Day International (ODI) match against Sri Lanka. In December 2022, he played for One Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh scoring 210 runs in 131 balls.
