<abbr> tag in HTML
The <abbr> tag used to specifies an abbreviation or an acronym, like "CSS", "ASAP", "ATM", etc.
Important Description
- Acronyms should be marked up with the <abbr> element instead.
- The title attribute has special semantics on the <abbr> element. If used, it must provide an expansion of the abbreviation/acronym.
- The global title attribute is used with the <abbr> tag to show the description of the abbreviation/acronym when you mouse over the <abbr> element.
