Fiji is a small country in the South Pacific Ocean 2000 KM away from New Zealand's North Island in the northeast. Fiji is made up of more than 350+ islands. The population of the country is around 1 million that was 926,276 according to the census of 2018. The biggest island of Fiji is Viti Levu on which most of the population of the country lives. The total area of Fiji is 18,274 km square.
Number of Provinces in Fiji
In Fiji, the smallest administrative units are villages that are called koro in modern Fiji. In villages, all things are managed by the village headman who is elected by the villagers. After koro, the above unit is tikina which is a subunit of yasana and is formed by combining several koros. The Yasana are governed by the provincial council, you can suppose Yasana as provenance.
