The national cricket of Canada is governed by the "Cricket Canada" board. Canada is a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1968. Canada played its first international ODI against Pakistan on 9 June 1979 at Headingley Leeds and its first T20 international against the Netherlands on 2 August 2008 at Stormont, Belfast.
