Backup in SQL Server

A SQL Server full backup means that making at least one additional copy of all data files that an organization to protect in a single backup operation. The files that are duplicated during the full backup process are designated beforehand by a backup administrator or other data protection specialist.

How to Create full SQL Server database backup

  • Right-click on the database name
  • Select Tasks > Backup
  • Select "Full" as the backup type
  • Select "Disk" as the destination
  • Click on "Add..." to add a backup file and type "C:\...." and click "OK"
  • Click "OK" again to create the backup
