Woody Harrelson (born Woodrow Tracy Harrelson) is an American actor born on July 23, 1961. He has been engaged with the entertainment industry as an actor since 1985.
Harrelson has earned several honors, including a Primetime Emmy Award, along with being nominated for three Academy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards.

In 1978, Fist time, Harrelson was cast in the film "Harper Valley PTA" in the role of Extra, which was an uncredited role. Officially, he started his acting career in 1985 and is widely known for his work on the NBC sitcom Cheers.

Woody Harrelson attended Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana, where he studied theater and English, while there, he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and became friends with future Vice President Mike Pence and graduated in 1983.

Personal Life, Wife, Kids of Harrelson
Harrelson tied the knot with Nancy Simon in Tijuana in 1985, initially with no serious intentions. They planned to divorce, but when they returned to the marriage/divorce parlor, it was closed, leading them to stay married for an additional ten months.
In 2008, he entered into marriage with Laura Louie, who co-founded the organic food delivery service Yoganics. They first crossed paths in 1987 when she served as his assistant. Currently residing in Maui, Hawaii, the couple has three daughters born in 1993, 1996, and 2006.
