Tony Labrusca was born with the name of Anthony Angel Labrusca Jr. in Houston, Texas, United States, as the son of Filipino actor Boom Labrusca and Filipina singer Angel Jones, but grew up in Los Angeles, California, with his mother, stepfather Boom Dayupay and sister. When he was 9, his family moved to Vancouver, Canada, and then he came to the Philippines to pursue his career in show business, where he joined Star Magic talent agency, based in the Philippines.
