Synopsis: Chasing The Sun
Four childhood friends “chase the sun” every night on the streets of the Jakarta ghetto as they dream of a better future. But Ardi (Winky Wiryawan), Damar (Fauzi Baadilla), Apin (Udjo), and Nino (Fedi Nuril) see their close friendship tested in the aftermath of witnessing Obet (Ade Habibie) killing a child.
There is the further strain when both Ardi and Damar fall in love with Apin’s niece, Rara (Agni P. Arkadewi). Can the four friends maintain their friendship under the challenges of love and loyalty as they careen toward adulthood?
