Storm Reid was born on 1 July 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Her father's name is Rodney whereas her mother's name is Robyn Simpson Reid, and both of her parents are African American. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Since her childhood Storm Reid has been fascinated by the acting field and wanted to pursue her career as an actress. To fulfill her daughter's dream Storm Reid's parents moved to Los Angeles in 2012 when she was 9 years old.

Storm Reid completed her schooling at Chesnut Elementary School which is situated in Atlanta. After completing her schooling she enrolled at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts from where she earned her graduate degree in Bachelor of Arts

Professional Acting Career of Storm Reid

In 2012, at the age of nine Storm Reid debuted her acting career as Young Erica in the short television film A Cross to Bear, it was a minor role. In 2013, she appeared in a significant role as Emily in Fox Searchlight Picture's film 12 Years a Slave. Storm Reid gained wide popularity with the films Sleight (2016) and A Wrinkle in Time (2018).
