Fiji is a country in the South Pacific Ocean that is formed by a group of more than 300 islands. Fiji is surrounded by the ocean from each side and it is 2000 KM away from New Zealand's North Island in the northeast. According to the data from 2018, the population of Fiji is around 926,276 and it is expected to be 1M at the end of 2020. 


As I mentioned Fiji is a group of a large number of islands, According to various research it was found that the majority of Fiji's islands formed through volcanic activity starting around 150 million years ago. The total area of Fiji is around 18,274 km square. 


Before 1970 Fiji was the colony of the United Kingdom and it got its independence on 10 October 1970. Since Fiji is surrounded by sea from all sides there is no freshwater resource Due to this reason in the past living in Fiji was a very difficult task. People from various countries of the world like India and other European countries came to Fiji and started to live there in this way people started to live in Fiji. According to various reports, around 57% population in Fiji are Indigenous Fijians, 37.6% Indian-Fijians, 4.5% European, and 1.2% are Rotumans.

Suva is a city in Fiji's island Viti Levu. Suva is the capital and largest city of Fiji. According to the census of 2017, the population of Suva city is 93,970. The area of the city is 2,048 km sq. and the population density is 46/km sq. After Suva, there are other major cities and towns in Fiji like Lautoka, Nadi, etc. Fiji is a naturally rich beautiful country, it has beautiful beaches every year a lot of tourists travel to Fiji from across the world.
