How to update mobile number in Aadhaar Card online?

The fact is you can't update the mobile number in Aadhaar Card online, in future it may possible if UIDAI changes his update facility, but for now, it is not possible to update the mobile number of Aadhar Card. If you want to update the mobile number in Aadhar Card, I'm going to tell you the easiest way to update the mobile number in Aadhar Card.

Update mobile number in Aadhaar Card -

You have two options, listed below

• Update Via Bank
• Update Via  Aadhaar Update Center ( Jan Sewa Kendra )

1. Update Via Bank

In my opinion, this is the best way to update your Aadhar Card Information, you can visit any bank which has the facility of  Aadhaar Card Update. Some Banks behave very nicely but some behave badly, for example, the banks of cities are behaving very well to people but in villages, they don't. 

Some banks offer first comes first update and some offer online appointments for Aadhar Update. 

The bank who don't have online appointments facility, you can directly visit the bank and update your Aadhar Card.

The Bank who have online appointments facility, you can book your appointments and can visit the bank of the given time and you can update your Aadhar Card.

2. Update Via Aadhaar Update Center ( Jan Sewa Kendra )

You can visit anytime to your nearest Aadhar Update Center and can update your Aadhar Card.

Note - The actual charge is only Rs. 50 but they some time Aadhaar Update Center charge more money for updating your Aadhar Information. It is not legal to take more money for an Aadhar update

Aadhaar details that can be updated are-

• Demographic information - Name, Address, Date of Birth/Age, Gender, Mobile Number, Email Address, Relationship Status, and Information Sharing Consent
• Biometric information - Iris, Finger Prints and Facial Photograph

Note 1 - You can update only demographic information if and only if your mobile number is already registered in your Aadhar Card, which means you can receive OTP for login into Aadhar portal for Aadhar Card update.

Note 2 - To update biometric information in Aadhar card you have to visit in Bank or Aadhar Update center.
