SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)


JHT stands for Junior Hindi Translator, it is a government job post-exam in India which is conducted under SSC (Staff Selection Commission) exams.



Exam Patterns for SSC JHT


Paper-I (Objective Type)


  • Mode of Paper: Computer-Based Mode
  • Subject: Part-I General Hindi & Part-II General English
  • Number of Questions: Hindi (100 Questions) & English (100 Questions)
  • Total Marks: Hindi (100 Marks) & English (100 Narks)
  • Time Duration: 2 Hours


Paper-II (Conventional Type)


  • Mode of Paper: Description
  • Subject: Translation & Essay
  • Total Marks: 200 Marks
  • Time Duration: 2 Hours


Important Points for SSC JHT Exam


  • Paper-I will consist of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
  • The Commission may at its discretion, fix qualifying marks in Paper-II.
